Set in late 1950’s Cornwall, in the fictional villages of Corinn and Trebarthy, Sally Barras is invited to ‘Tremallion’ by her fiancee, Simon Carey.

Sally has a sense of foreboding when Simon’s identical twin brother suddenly turns up at ‘Tremallion.’  Piers Carey is brash, overconfident and out for trouble. The complete opposite of Simon’s quiet demeanor.

Stories of local smugglers, people trafficking and pirate ghosts, do nothing to allay Sally’s fears when she discovers that Piers is involved in the activities on the shores below ‘Tremallion.’ enough to put Sally in fear of her life and lose her beloved, Simon
